Compliance Processing Specialist - Salt Lake City, UT

We are currently seeking a Compliance Processing Specialist!

Responsible for coordinating compliance tracking, corporate and regional compliance reporting. Voucher and ledger review. UT submissions. MOR preparations and maintenance. General admin and reporting as needed/required.

Responsibilities include:

• Review and post monthly voucher
• Oversee and organize monthly UT submissions ensuring checks are received on site within required timeline
• Manage and purge waitlists to ensure accuracy
• Select applicants in accordance with waitlist guidelines to identify those next in line for vacant unit eligibility
• Contact eligible applicants to begin qualification process
• Complete initial qualifying interview and application to rent with applicants
• Instruct applicants on qualifying documentation needed
• Complete background/credit screening as well as sex offender search
• Coordinate with the onsite team the status of application as well as transfer of information so move in file can be completed
• Tracking of file through approval and move in to ensure timelines are met
• Tracking and completion of Interim Certifications
• EIV monitoring and compliance

Requirements:

• 2-5 years in a customer service role
• Working knowledge and experience of multiple affordable housing programs
• Level of customer service provided to both internal and external points of contact
• Accuracy of work produced and ability to meet deadlines
• Contributions to organizational goals, achieved through improved quality and customer service
• Maintenance and distribution of company data
• Experience in Project Based Section 8, COS preferred

Compensation: Full- Time $28.00 to $30.00 per hour depending on experience
