Operational Accountant - Cottonwood Heights, UT

We are currently seeking an Operational Accountant!    

Operational Accountants provide services to AMC’s clients, including auditing, budgeting, and other financial management tasks.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage W-9s with third party vendors
• Enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and procedures
• Complete and coordinate annual audits
• Verify escrow taxes, insurance, and process client’s monthly mortgage and other expenses
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations, financials, prelims, and final process approvals
• Conduct monthly and quarterly audits
• Prepare, review, and sign draws
• Communicate explanations on balance sheet items with clients
• Assist operations with AP processes and questions

Requirements:

• At least one year of prior accounting experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills
• Ability to maintain organization
• Strong attention to detail and adept in mathematics
• Ability to maintain positive working relationship with internal and external points of contact

Additional Information: **Property Management experience preferred***

Compensation: $45,000 per year
